A little bit about me….
I have always had a love of travel inspired by my early childhood travels. My Dad travelled a lot for work, across Africa, Asia, and beyond and we always had foreign holidays. The kids at school used to say your always going away.. I guess I was lucky. It wasn’t just the standard package holiday either.. my dad would pack us in the car and drive us off around Europe, and he always took us off the beaten track.
I spent a lot of my adult life trying to work out what to do for work… I have been a retail manager, a manager in a bank, had various jobs in the local authority and my last job working for someone was a Registered Care Manager. I then started my own business and realised that I could never work for someone again!
When I met Brett, also known as Mr Moon we very soon worked out that the one thing we did have in common was a desire to travel. Although this was our second time meeting. We went to school together many moons ago and Bretts favourite story is that our first ever trip abroad together was to Paris.. how romantic! It was a school trip where we stayed in some very dubious accommodation!
Within a few weeks of us being a couple we went off to Santorini which will always be a special place to us, we love it that much we went back for my 40th birthday and later that year we married in Mauritius. And we have travelled a lot since.. only stopped by covid.
We looked at starting a travel business in 2018 and was put off by the lack of ways to start up without a background. But by 2022 post covid all that had changed. New opportunities to start up in travel where available. We had built a successful business already with a wonderful community of customers and we knew that we were ready to take the leap. There is no looking back really. It has been the best 3 years.
I absolutely love my job, my business, my clients and every day at work. I think I could be addicted to it! I get so excited helping people travel and make dreams a reality. It literally is the best job in the world.
I specialise in putting together bespoke itineraries across the world, with a particular focus on South East Asia. I have been fortunate enough to visit lots of amazing places and can help with travel across the world. I am constantly striving to learn more about destinations. I am as happy booking a sunshine holiday in Greece as I am a Thailand multi centre. I love all things travel!
My focus is always on creating the very best client experience I can. We all work hard and deserve to enjoy our travels and time out. Every single booking no matter how big or small matters to us. And we genuinely appreciate every booking we make. We really are living the dream.
